About Us
We are The Borchers, a family originally from Chicago, Illinois, and the incredibly grateful owners of Sunset Pointe on Norris Lake since the summer of 2025.
Our story with this home began long before we owned it.
Our family first started renting this very property in 2010, when our three children were still young. Every summer we returned, year after year, building traditions and dreaming that one day we might be lucky enough to call a place like this our own.
Over time, our hearts became deeply connected not only to Norris Lake, but specifically to this home. There is something truly special about the clear emerald-green waters of Norris, the peaceful bay where Sunset Pointe sits, the incredible lake views from nearly every room, and the unforgettable sunsets that light up the sky each evening. From the very beginning, this place simply felt like home.
To us, Sunset Pointe is not just a rental property.
It is a place where memories are made. Not only for our family but for everyone who walks through the front door.
It’s where family and friends gather, where the beauty of Norris Lake invites everyone to slow down, relax, and enjoy time together.

Year after year Sunset Pointe has been the backdrop for some of our most meaningful family moments. We have built a life here around the simple joys of lake life, spending time together with laughter, and unforgettable memories.
